Simone Malan

I am a young and upcoming singer in Centurion South-Africa, I’m currently in Gr 11 form Zwartkop High. Since I was a little girl I always dreamt of making my way in the performing arts career, and I’m passionate about learning and life. I’m currently participating in Competitions like PACISA, Pretoria Eisteddfod, Garsfontein Kunstefees, Artisticulta, Kraal Kunstefees, Centurion Kunstefees and SATCH. I have been giving the winning title for the genre jazz a few times, and my favourite genre is Rock.

I’m currently developing my acting skills to boost my singing career. I have a role in my school's theatre production where we participate in various competitions like ATKV Tiener Toneel, Pronkpodium, Centurion Kunstefees and Pretoria Eisteddfod I’m not a massive fan of sport, but I like to dance, I have past dancing experiences in ballet, contemporary and modern dancing.

I’m performing and participating in school productions to give me exposure to learn and grow. I’m working hard for an academic scholarship to have the opportunity to study Business management and marketing at NWU University in 2021 because I think it is important not to only focus on my talents and passions but to know about business principles to enhance my singing career to make it happen.

I am very excited about my future and what’s to come. I love working with people, and I am an outgoing person. I’m looking forward to going on the Academic tour to Europe in June/July 2020.  I want to learn and have an open mind about other countries and cultures because it is true what they say: “travelling is the University of Life”. To be a balanced person, I want to learn about other people and gain life experience while I am having a great time strolling down the streets of Europe. I am thankful for the opportunity because this is a massive privilege for me, but I still need some sponsors to make this dream a reality. I’m currently working part-time on weekends to help raise funds.  Any donations would be highly appreciated. Please go check out my video and feel free to visit my Facebook page.
